Default What are the offline marketing strategies you use?

Hi..

I don't use offline but I suggest one of my friend to do following strategies.
The niche was Dating

1. T-shirt Printing and Distribution
2. Put Pamphlets in Bars, Pubs, Cyber cafes etc.
3. FM stations Announcements
4. News paper's Horoscope Sponsored advertisement.

So far it has worked very GOOOD.

How about you guys?... any suggestions or additions
Thanks in advance,

Well considering my college has it's own TV network, I'm thinking of advertising on the TV station which reaches over 24,000 students. I already talked to the manager, and it'll cost about $400.00 per semester. Coverting only 400 students out of that 24,000 student ratio, I'll have that $400 investment paid off.

Another as raven said is the T-Shirts. A good place I'd recommend is CafePress.com where you can easily create different styles.

Another a friend of mine uses is postcards that he sends out to local businesses every 3 months or so.

In the US, local radio is quite efficient and really not that expensive. Also, posters in public transportation are very cheap to get, and are seen by a lot of different people. The most important question is usually what your nich is. I think that if your niche is local, you can really benefit from offline advertising, but if you niche is global, it is hard to reach a sufficient amount of people.
